PURPOSE:

This site is unique for youth football in this area. This page addresses how to get registered and how it aids the EAYF in developing a product that all participating players, parents, and coaches will enjoy well into the future.

The EAYF Fan Profile allows you to connect to the EAYF community, by submitting comments, photos, and videos. But first you need to create your EAYF fan profile which allows you to have your own blog, picture gallery and guest book so you can interact with other EAYF fans.

The EAYF Team Pages are updated by EAYF team personnel, such as the coach and team mom. This is the online connection with you that allows you to share and exchange information.

To use this site you must Establish a Profile. You do this from this site. The steps are:

  • Click on “create a fan profile
  • Fill in the required data.
  • When you submit your profile you’ll receive a message stating that you are registered.
  • You can modify your profile to let other fans know who your favorite teams , write a blog, receive messages from guests, and post pictures. You have the ability to determine who can access this data too.

Submitting Pictures is easy after you have a profile. Just-

  • Click on “Your Profile” and then select the “Picture Gallery” tab.
  • Note you are limited in the size and quantity of pictures so ensure they are compressed
  • Click on submit “New Gallery Entry”, Caption it and the hit submit button.
  • You can then publish or unpublish it by clicking on the suitcase below your picture. You can also delete the picture from your site too by clicking on the trach can.
Submittng Videos:
  • Log in to the Interactive area.
  • Note for videos clips, first remember to keep them short (about 10 to 15 seconds).
  • Choose "EAYF Video Gallery" from the menu
  • Click the "Upload Video" button from the menu at the top
  • Choose the video.
  • Choose a thumbnail (if you have one), or put a checkmark beside "I will not upload a thumbnail for my video"
  • Click "upload and go to next step"

The posting of inappropriate material to this site is unacceptable. If inappropriate pictures or videos are placed onto this site through your profile, those pictures and videos will be removed and your profile banned from this site.

Maintaining Memories

We have a goal to build a digital football program of the entire EAYF season that can also be produced as a hard copy (but lacking in one techological aspect). This program can offer the community more than your typical football program you usually get from a high school, college, or professional team. However, success requires the interaction of EAYF parents, family members, and coaches.

A football program often contains a list of team members, coaches, and cheerleaders and their pictures. It might list out the games of the season but then that’s about it. When you look at our EAYF Football program at the end of the year we hope there will be more. Imagine a program that contains the standard information ("x" team, its players, coaches, and sponsor) and then provides information such as a box score and the summary of each game. There is more but first how often when you look back at your childhood experience in sports you have said:

  • I wonder where I placed my paper copy of my program for youth football/baseball/soccer/basketball or why didn't my league do a program for us?
  • What was the score or a certain game that I know we one but Billy said they won?
  • What was our record in 2007 because I know Bobby's team did not have a record as good as ours?
  • I remember when I tackled that kid who we all knew back then was going to be a Heisman Trophy candidate but I need proof to show my college buddies!
  • Can you believe Frank Crukell the current offensive tackle for WKVU was a cornerback on the Steelers when he played in the EAYF?
  • Boy I sure wish I could replay that bone jarring tackle I made against the Lions. It kept Jimbo Bellorusscio from winning his sixth consecutive EAYF Super Bowl and allowed that trio of Witt, Youngster, and Pylski(now a powerful attorney firm) to finally win one after 20 years of trying

Our program can help answer or refresh your memory by providing you a product that also contains photos and video clips from each game of the season . This of course requires weekly input from the EAYF community for each and every game played.

Success depends on you!

We need the cooperation of parents, family members, and coaches to submit pictures and video clips weekly through this EAYF interactive site. We will draw weekly from your EAYF Team and Fan profile pages and use them on our weekly/schedule results page (we’ll need them uploaded by 9:00 PM each Tuesday).

  • You can also expect to see a weekly picture and video clip competition of the week with the winners being announced at each football game.
  • We know parents are taking pictures and videos already so get involved and don’t let the coaches and players have all the fun.
